Drumsticks are commonly used in Indian cuisine, especially in dishes like curries, sambhar (a lentil-based soup), and stir-fries. When cooked, the outer skin softens, and the tender inner flesh can be scooped out. It has a mild, earthy flavor and is often enjoyed for its nutrient-rich properties, being high in vitamins A and C, calcium, and iron. The leaves and flowers of the Moringa tree are also used for their medicinal and nutritional benefits.
