Turai India

Ridge gourd, also known as luffa or turai, is a green, elongated vegetable with distinctive ridges running along its length. It has a firm yet spongy texture with a slightly rough, dark green skin. The vegetable is usually around 8 to 12 inches long, tapering at both ends. When peeled, the inside reveals pale, soft flesh that is light green to white in color, with tiny, soft seeds embedded within.
